Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a real difference in students' lives across the Greater Harrisburg, Enola, and Camp Hill, PA areas. This full-time, contract position offers a unique blend of Extended School Year (ESY) summer programming and an engaging school year assignment, ensuring a fulfilling, year-round professional experience. Step into a dynamic role providing speech and language services within various school buildings. You'll play a vital part in supporting student development, collaborating closely with educators, families, and administrators, and helping young learners reach communication milestones.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Pennsylvania SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school setting (Preferred) Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Flexibility to work across multiple school sites within the Greater Harrisburg area Ability to start quickly; interviews and offers are ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs during the ESY summer program (4 full days/week) and school year (5 full days/week) Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress Adapt services and approaches to meet the varying needs of students in different school buildings Foster an encouraging, positive learning environment for all students Discover the satisfaction of guiding students to communication success while enjoying the flexibility of a contract assignment that spans both summer and academic sessions.
