Harvard University Position Details TitlePostdoctoral Positions in High-Energy Theory at Harvard UniversitySchoolFaculty of Arts and SciencesDepartment/AreaPhysicsPosition Description Postdoctoral Positions in High-Energy Theory at Harvard University Applicants are invited for research positions in high-energy theory (including but not restricted to particle physics, particle astrophysics, quantum gravity, quantum field theory, and string theory) at Harvard University, to begin in academic year 2026 - 2027. The appointment would be at the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow. The initial appointment is for one year at a time with renewal for a second and third year contingent upon continued funding and research collaboration. Applications should consist of a letter of application, CV, and research statement. Also required are three letters of recommendation from senior scientists who know your work. Applications and supporting materials should arrive by December 5, 2025 for full consideration. Basic Qualifications Candidates for this position must have completed their Ph.D. degree by the appointment start date; demonstrate outstanding research in high-energy physics appropriate to level of the position; and have the ability to identify and pursue research problems independently while working well in an interactive and dynamic setting.
