183900 M2 LInES is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at NYU Courant Institute School of Mathematics, Computing, and Data Science. In collaboration with Profs Carlos Fernandez-Granda, Joan Bruna, Laure Zanna, the successful candidate will focus on developing generative machine learning models for complex dynamical systems for probabilistic forecasts. The postdoc will be expected to lead independent research directions while collaborating with a team composed of domain scientists, experts in climate physics and modeling, and AI, as part of the international project, M2 LInES m2lines.github.io . The position, available immediately, is a full-time appointment, initially for one year, with the possibility of renewal for 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance and available funding. In compliance with NYU's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500

• $94,000.

Qualifications:

Education:

Ph.D. in machine learning, computer science, engineering, physical science or related technical discipline.

Experience:
