These position involves fundamental and applied research and advising graduate students in an interdisciplinary research team. Experience in one of the following areas is preferred: mechanical metamaterials, disordered and glassy systems, memory and physical learning in materials. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal of position in the following years, contingent upon funding availability and satisfactory performance. Responsibilities Developing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, writing manuscripts and publishing in peer reviewed journals.
