job summary: Drive the biophysical characterization of cutting-edge mRNA therapeutics as a technical lead in our Norwood lab. You will manage the full lifecycle of critical reagents while utilizing advanced tools like LCMS, SPR, and
SEC-MALS
to ensure assay performance. This role is designed for a scientist who excels in analytical biochemistry and high-level inventory management within a GLP environment.

Norwood, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $50 - 55 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Maintain a robust system for the monitoring, tracking, and storage of critical reagents to ensure their availability and quality. Support reagent characterization to generate CoA documentation.

Routine Biophysical Characterization (LCMS, SDS-PAGE, c
IEF, SPR, BLI, SEC-HPLC, SEC-MALS, UV-VIS
) to support reagent performance evaluation and documentation.

ELN documentation for all the Lab activities.

Maintain a database of Reference standards/reagents, including their specifications, source, usage, and expiration dates.

Conduct regular audits of critical reagent inventory and work with cross-functional teams to manage the procurement and disposition of the reagents.

Vendor management to ensure the availability and quality of critical reagents.

Implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reagent-specific risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Monitor industry trends and advancements in critical reagent management and implement the best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
qualifications:
Required:
Education:
M.S. (1+ year exp) or B.S. (3+ years exp) in Bioanalytical Sciences or related scientific field.
Reagent Management:
Expertise in reagent lifecycles, regulatory requirements, and Titian/MOSAIC systems.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in peptide/protein and aptamer-antibody conjugation systems.
Analytical Background:
Hands-on experience with LCMS, SPR, BLI, SEC-MALS, and mRNA-based therapeutic analysis.
Compliance:
Proven experience working in GLP environments using ELN/LIMS and HRMS software. #LI-KH1 skills: High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Gel Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE)
