Job Description

My biotech client actively seeks a Senior Scientist to join their antibody development group. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in antibody discovery and take a leadership role in experimental planning, target characterization, and sequence/structure analysis. The ideal candidate will take on the following responsibilities: Lead antibody development efforts using hybridoma technology and vaccine-based platforms. Drive experimental planning and execution to characterize targets through sequence and structural analysis. Design immunogens and develop immunization strategies in support of antibody development programs. Apply protein biochemistry expertise to candidate evaluation and characterization. Contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment alongside senior scientific leadership. This person will possess the following qualities: Ph.D. in Immunology or a related discipline, plus 2+ years of relevant industry or academic laboratory experience. Hands-on laboratory experience required — must be willing to work at the bench. Demonstrated expertise in hybridoma technology, vaccine development, or related antibody development platforms. Strong experimental planning and project leadership capabilities. Candidates from both industry and academia will be considered. Experience with protein biochemistry, molecular modeling, or vaccine design is preferred. Familiarity with sequence and structure analysis in the context of antibody-antigen interactions is preferred.
