Computational Protein Engineer

Join a pioneering biotech organization focused on groundbreaking advancements in antibody and protein design. This role offers the chance to spearhead experimental programs that meld computational methods with hands-on lab work, driving the next generation of protein engineering breakthroughs. Key responsibilities include spearheading the conceptualization and execution of intricate protein and antibody design projects, optimizing protein production processes, and conducting binding and functional efficacy assessments. You'll work in tandem with structural biologists to infuse structural insights into live experiments and apply cutting-edge computational solutions like AlphaFold and Rosetta to enhance lab strategies. Additionally, collaborate closely with CRO partners to tailor experiments, manage communications, and report on outcomes. Ideal candidates will hold a Ph.D. in biochemistry or a related field, paired with at least two years of industry exposure. Expertise in protein expression, refinement, and assessment is essential, along with hands-on experience in antibody engineering modalities such as bispecifics and nanobodies. A history of peer-reviewed publications or patents in the protein engineering domain, familiarity with advanced computational tools, and project leadership capabilities are highly valued.
