Job Description

Students working as lab aides may use the basic skills and equipment of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, however cleaning and organizing are the major components of this job. This is a physically active job with support areas on 4 floors of the STEM building - applicant must be very mobile and able to remain active for large stretches of the day (often while moving materials from one floor to another). Both science majors and non-science majors are encouraged to apply. Duties vary greatly depending on the skills and aptitude of the student. We are hiring for summer positions so you will need to be registered for either 6 credits during the summer or 6 credits during the upcoming fall semester (you need to be registered before applying for work) to be eligible for this position.
MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SUMMER/FALL 2026 SEMESTER MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS, UNLESS FIRST SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENTED. APPLICATION DEADLINE
