The Opportunity The Extraction Technician plays a critical role in converting cannabis materials into high-quality cannabis oils and liquids for Lake Leaf Cultivation. As an Extraction Technician you are responsible for assisting the post-harvest team in navigating day to day laboratory operations. This includes working with the leadership team to prepare raw materials, perform the extraction process, clean up equipment and conduct general lab duties. This position will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure equipment is maintained regularly and raw materials meet the necessary specifications. What You Get to Do
    General Operational Duties:
    o Properly operate and maintain all necessary equipment to ensure efficient operations o Assist with the front-end processing of raw materials, including weighing, grinding, cleaning, and general lab work o Perform corrective and preventative maintenance as required o Perform quality assurance sampling, testing, and visual inspections to ensure products meet specification and consumer expectations
      Reports and Documentation:
      o Ensuring batches are organized throughout production and maintain proper labeling & required METRC tag attached o Documenting all machine maintenance and improving or developing safety guidelines for equipment use

      • Must be 21 years of age or older
      • Must be able to secure a license from the Regulatory Agency
      • Responsible for following all relevant Cannabis Regulations
      • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process Must Haves
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
      • Must be able to follow instructions unsupervised and has ability to concentrate on each task
      • Accurate data-entry and record keeping, both hard copy and digitally.
      • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
      • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
      • Reside within a distance that allows for a regular on-site presence. Work Environment
      • Indoor cultivation facility with controlled temperatures and humidity levels.
      • Exposure to strong odors and varying noise levels.
      • Frequent use of chemicals and pest management equipment.
