Description This position works in the Health and Public Services academic division and is under the supervision of the Dean of HPS or Program Director, depending on the assignment. This position is responsible for contributing to student learning by developing curriculum and course materials, providing hands-on training, and assisting with skills demonstrations in a lab setting. This temporary, part-time position is assigned an hourly schedule semester by semester, based on program needs and course schedules. The position does not work between semesters. This position may be asked to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends. Typical Duties May prepare and develop curriculum, including lesson plans, key assessments, and assessment plans. May assist in lab with the demonstration of skills. Assist students in meeting learning objectives by accurately and impartially assessing students' abilities in performing assigned skills and correcting deficiencies. Remain current in practices, trends and research related to areas of assignment. Maintain confidentiality relating to student matters. Maintain availability for faculty, staff, and student interaction. Carry out assigned responsibilities in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes and the college's philosophies, policies, procedures and regulations.
