has an opening for an Andrologist/Laboratory Assistant position. This position is for our satellite location in

Carlsbad Andrology/Laboratory Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

Semen analysis including strict morphology and sperm antibody screening Preparation of semen for intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures Participation in internal and external Proficiency Tests. Excellent sterile technique Cryopreserving and thawing, sperm, testicular tissue.

Endocrinology Responsibilities:

Run daily hormone analyzer. Must be able to order supplies for analyzer. Participation in internal and external Proficiency Tests Inventory Management Laboratory Purchasing Data entry and patient data records Records Maintenance Overall Laboratory procedural support

Skills Required:

Organizational Skills Labeling of processing and storage materials with patient identifiers Able to handle multiple specimens (i.e., multitasking) in a timely fashion Perform all laboratory Quality Control & Quality Assurance procedures Prepare monthly and quarterly laboratory metrics Lab experience: 1 or more years Bachelor's in biology or related field CLS, Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure preferred Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
