We are currently seeking a per diem detail-oriented and motivated Embryologist to join our lab team. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in reproductive medicine while making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Responsibilities Identify and move oocytes in follicular fluid using a dissecting microscope. Load embryos into a catheter, assisting the physician with handling and positioning as needed. Conduct daily assessments of patient embryos using an inverted microscope. Use medical-grade laser technology to perform zona ablation on oocytes and embryos. Execute freezing and thawing processes for surplus oocytes and embryos. Label and prepare culture dishes with sterile technique for next-day procedures. Stock supplies, perform quality control tests, maintain lab equipment, and monitor liquid nitrogen storage. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with Technical Supervisor (ABB) certification, Master's degree in Biological Sciences, or a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team-based environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Working Conditions This position requires working primarily under microscopes in the in vitro fertilization laboratory. You'll be expected to follow strict lab protocols and work with liquid nitrogen and other specialized equipment. Schedule 2-4 days per week from 7:00 am-3:00 pm with weekend rotation and holidays.
Per Diem Rate:
$1000-$1200/day (depending on experience)
