D. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Associate in the laboratory of Maurice Swanson, Ph.D. with an interest in the investigating the molecular basis of neurological and/or neuromuscular disease. Perform postdoctoral research with a focus on pathomechanisms underlying neurological and neuromuscular diseases and the development of potential disease therapies. Preferred candidates should have experience using human cell and/or mouse disease models and a training record that includes one of the following: neuroscience, RNA biochemistry, genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics.
EXPECTED SALARY
$58,656•$66,948 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.
D. PREFERRED
PhD in either neuroscience, genetics, or molecular and cell biology with research experience in cell and/or mouse models for neurological disease.
