Job Description

Overview SouthEastern Pathology is seeking a dynamic full-time Cytologist to join our growing private pathology practice in Rome, Georgia. We are currently recruiting ASCP board certified/eligible Cytologists for this full-time position. We welcome applications from experienced Cytologists and those currently in training. Duties Our group is collegial and supportive; you will be joining a staff of 2 FT and 2 PT Cytologists. Our Cytologists cover 3 hospitals as well as in house GYN and NON GYN cases. We provide rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) for a variety of procedures including, but not limited to: Ultrasound guided/CT guided
FNA/BX:
Thyroid, parotid and neck masses EBUS, Robotic navigation (Ion), and EUS. Requirements Proficiency in microscopic examination and evaluation of gynecologic and non-gynecologic samples Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in identifying cellular abnormalities Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Cytotechnologist (CT) or in the process of certification. Experience in a clinical laboratory environment, particularly in pathology or cytology, is a plus.
