Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive instruction on EKG techniques, cardiac anatomy, and physiology to students in both classroom and lab settings Supervise hands-on practice sessions, ensuring students develop accurate skills in performing EKGs and rhythm recognition Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development that integrates medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical research principles Provide guidance and mentorship to students working through complex concepts like acute care, critical care, and pediatrics when applicable Maintain detailed records of student progress, assessments, and laboratory activities to support continuous improvement Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and cardiac physiology relevant to EKG procedures Experience working with adult learners in higher education, vocational training or workplace environments Supervising experience in clinical or laboratory settings with a focus on patient care Excellent teaching skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively Background in nursing, acute care, pediatrics, or public health is highly desirable for comprehensive instruction Embark on a rewarding journey by empowering students with essential skills in electrocardiography.
