robert.pace@eku.edu & barbara.davis@eku.edu Job Summary/Basic Functions Provides teaching assistance for the laboratory instructor in a 2-hour laboratory each week by helping to assess and provide student feedback on individualized and group activities to build student knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological anatomy and physiology specific for future application in an occupational therapy program. Additionally, provides 6-8 hours of near peer mentoring each week during regularly scheduled hours in the BIOS Peer Mentoring Center (PMC) to include courses in advanced anatomy, neuroanatomy, and anatomy and physiology I and II. Assists with the development of Canvas flyers to promote exam review weeks in the PMC. May assist in examination preparation during some laboratory exam weeks.
Minimum Qualifications Licensure & Certifications:
Must be enrolled at
EKU Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate Biological Sciences student, or related major, at junior or senior standing, or exceptional sophomore minimum 3.5 GPA. A grade of a least a B or higher in some upper-level BIO coursework.
