As a Senior Consultant, Biologist/Ecologist/Scientist and Lead Wetland Delineator, based in New Orleans or Houston, you will take on a strategic, hands-on role supporting complex projects throughout the Mid‑Atlantic and Southeast United States. What Your Impact Is

• Lead and execute field‑based wetland delineations and protected species assessments for nationally significant projects
• Shape environmental permitting strategies across renewable energy, oil & gas, power, infrastructure, and technology sectors
• Deliver high‑quality technical documentation, risk assessments, and compliance strategies
• Partner with ERM's nationwide network of technical specialists to resolve complex environmental challenges
• Contribute directly to ERM's Impact Assessment practice and long‑term sustainability goals What You'll Bring Required
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resources, or a related field (minimum 3.0 GPA) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant environmental experience, including wetland delineation, habitat assessments, and permitting
• Strong working knowledge of plant identification, hydric soils, and hydrology indicators
• Demonstrated technical writing, data management, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to travel and perform fieldwork up to 50% of the time

This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
