Job Description:
The Department of Natural Sciences & Mathematics at Curry College invites applications for a full-time 1-year Special Appointment at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to begin late August 2026. Successful candidates will have experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology to diverse undergraduate learners using a variety of methodologies to deliver lecture and lab content. We seek candidates with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching that promotes inclusive and equity-minded learning environments. You will be joining a strong established team of educators who collaborate extensively to deliver A&P to nursing, exercise science, public health, and science majors. All full-time faculty are required to teach at least four courses during one semester (one 2.5-hour laboratory equals one course), and three courses in the second. The use of the college's LMS, Canvas, is required. The advising of science majors as well as active participation in college and department events is also required. This position will include coordination of lecture and lab curriculum for all faculty teaching Anatomy & Physiology courses.

A master's or Ph.D. in the Natural Sciences, with experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology strongly preferred. A terminal degree is required for the rank of assistant professor. This is a one-year appointment for a position that will subsequently be filled by a candidate selected through our comprehensive national search process.
Salary:
Starting from $66,604 at the Instructor rank Starting from $80,066 at the Assistant Professor rank
