Job Description The Precision Medicine Immunology department isseekinga highly motivated and talented Scientist with a background in immunology or immuno-oncology and experience in single-cell or spatial genomics, molecular biology, and cell biology to join the Translational Research team. This individual will provide leadership in clinical biomarker discovery by profiling clinical samples using single-cell and spatial omics approaches to better understand drug mechanism of action and pharmacodynamics, while driving data-informed patient selection strategies. The role will support drug development programs across inflammatory and autoimmune disease areas, including Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and Fibrosis, from late-stage discovery through clinical trials. The successful candidate will join a growing translational research group and collaborate with cross-functional teams both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities Independently lead the design, execution, and analysis of complex genomic profiling experiments, including single-cell RNA-Seq, CITE-Seq, and spatial transcriptomics/proteomics. Perform image analysis tasks for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics datasets, including de-array and alignment for multi-omics integration, cellsegmentationand phenotyping. Design, develop and implement computational pipelines for processing and analyzing spatial omics datasets, including spatial transcriptomics and proteomics. Proactivelyidentifytechnical artifacts, interpret quality control results,optimizeassay performance, and ensure high quality and reproducible data delivery ontimelydeadlines. Stay at the forefront of the single-cell and spatial genomics field by surveying, evaluating,testingandvalidatingnovel scientific methodologies. Present work plans andacquireddata clearly and precisely to cross-functional stakeholders through formal written reports and verbal updates Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and typically 12 years of experience, Masters Degree or equivalent education and typically 10 years of experience, PhD and typically 4 years of experience. Major or advanced degree in Immunology, cell & molecular biology, pharmacology, pathology,bioinformaticsor other relevant biological sciences. Proventrack recordof leading translational medicine initiatives in autoimmune diseases, bridging the gap between early discovery and clinical application. Extensive experience designing and conducting single-cell and spatial omics studies to generate andvalidatecritical biomarker hypotheses. Broad technicalexpertisein molecular and cell biology assays, specificallyspecializinginscRNA-seq, CITE-seq, and multi-parameter flow cytometry. Expertisein executing spatial omics experiments usingCosMx, Xenium, andVisiumplatforms, integrated with deepexpertisein molecular pathology techniques such as IHC and ISH Proficient in the integrative analysis of multi-dimensional datasets using bioinformatics tools such as R and Python. Skilled in using advanced image analysis platforms, such asVisiopharmand HALO, to derive quantitative biological insights from tissue-based assays. Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS) and high-performance computing (HPC) environments for processing large-scale genomic data. Experience applying machine learning frameworks and sophisticated data visualization tools to interpret complex biological patterns. Strong project leadership and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks andallocateresources to meet aggressive timelines. Experienced in managing CROs and external collaborators while working seamlessly with multi-functional internal teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Excellent presentation and people management skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex scientific data to diverse stakeholders and executive leadership. A robusttrack recordof scientific writing, ensuring high-quality documentation and verbal reporting of technical findings. Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,andwemayultimatelypaymore or less than the posted range. This range may bemodifiedin thefuture.
