Scientist (Cell Line Engineering)

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, standard business hours Job Summary This role will support cell line development and reagent generation activities for therapeutic research programs. The position involves hands-on laboratory work in cell culture, gene editing, and assay development. Key Responsibilities Perform mammalian cell culture, including maintenance of primary and immortalized cell lines Generate and maintain engineered cell lines (knockout, knock-in, and overexpression) Conduct cell-based assays to support research and development activities Perform flow cytometry (FACS) analysis, sorting, and cell cloning Support technology development for cell line engineering and genome editing Assist with expansion, banking, and inventory management of cell lines Maintain accurate records and support digital sample tracking initiatives Coordinate cell line inventory across multiple sites Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture Experience with cell line engineering and gene editing techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 Familiarity with flow cytometry and cell-based assays Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in biologics or antibody discovery Knowledge of vector design and genome engineering techniques Prior experience in industry settings
