Job Title:
Clinical Geneticist Overview:
StaffMed Health Partners is seeking a full-time Clinical Geneticist to join the Division of Genetic, Genomic, and Metabolic Disorders at a nationally ranked children's hospital in Detroit. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team, contributing to an expanding clinical genetics service with flexible opportunities to shape your clinical focus, research interests, and leadership roles. The position involves outpatient and inpatient consultations, with access to specialized programs and collaborative research initiatives, making it an ideal fit for a dedicated professional seeking a rewarding environment in pediatric genetics.
Required Skills:
MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Genetics Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain Experience or interest in outpatient genetics clinics and inpatient consultation services
Preferred Education and Experience:
Board Certification in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine (desirable) Prior experience in pediatric genetics or related fields is preferred
Other Requirements:
Licensure eligibility for Michigan Ability to participate in teaching medical students, genetic counseling students, and pediatric residents Willingness to collaborate in specialized programs such as
Lysosomal Storage Disease, Pediatric Enzyme Replacement Therapy, and Inborn Errors of Metabolism Compensation and Benefits:
