Job Description

train and mentor students, including undergraduate students, rotating students, and Ph.D. students. Prepare manuscripts, abstracts, and grant applications. Present findings at national scientific meetings. Assist lab management and take lab responsibilities, such as ordering and organizing lab supplies. In addition to the above-described duties, the individual will be expected to accept committee assignments, reporting responsibilities, and other special ad hoc assignments as requested at the administrative unit, college/division, institute, and/or university level. Strong experience in biochemical and molecular biology techniques, tissue processing and immunostaining, and small animal studies. Must have at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication from the last two years. Preferred Qualifications Interest in learning advanced bioinformatic analysis such as analyzing single-cell RNA-seq data. Highly motivated for research independence and career advancement. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Experiences in cell culture of primary endothelial cells, hepatocytes, and hepatic stellate cells, and organoid culture.
