The postdoc will generate and analyze multi-omics data, guide junior staff and coauthor resulting manuscripts. To achieve these goals, the candidate will have expertise in microbial genomics and transcriptomics, and insect physiology. The results of the work will be used to inform how microbiomes are manipulated to support healthy outcomes for animal hosts. Minimum Education Required Ph.D. degree in a field of biological sciences. Desired Qualifications Experience analyzing microbial community dynamics, microbial genomes and insect digestive tissue physiology. This experience could include graduate level work or other related experiences. Experience working with cockroaches and anaerobic bacteria is highly preferred.
