Job Description

Wilson College invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach Anatomy & Physiology in the Health Science program. This in-person teaching opportunity supports students pursuing studies in health-related disciplines through hands-on laboratory instruction emphasizing human anatomy, physiology, and foundational biological sciences. At Wilson College, faculty are committed to creating engaging learning environments that challenge students to become confident and critical thinkers, effective communicators, honorable leaders, and agents of positive change. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate Anatomy & Physiology laboratory courses in an on-campus setting. Facilitate hands-on laboratory instruction, including anatomical study and animal dissection. Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports student success. Assess student learning and provide timely feedback. Maintain course records and meet institutional expectations for adjunct faculty.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Biology, Health Science, Physiology, Anatomy, or a closely related scientific field. Demonstrated experience in human anatomy, physiology, and laboratory instruction. Experience with animal dissection and related laboratory techniques. Strong interpersonal communication skills and commitment to student-centered teaching.
Preferred:
Two or more years of college-level teaching experience. Experience teaching in undergraduate health science or pre-professional programs. Ability to engage students through interactive and applied laboratory instruction.
