Milford, PA (Onsite)
Shifts:
Tuesday-Saturday and Monday-Friday Position Overview The Molecular Technologist performs complex molecular diagnostic testing, including -Generation Sequencing (NGS), to support patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to established laboratory protocols and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform molecular testing procedures, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and NGS workflows Prepare libraries, operate sequencing instruments, and assist with data processing Follow and maintain SOPs, QC, and QA procedures Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments Ensure compliance with
CLIA, CAP, NYS
DOH, and internal policies Participate in validation and verification of new assays Communicate results and issues effectively to supervisors and team members Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Medical Technology, or related field NYS license in Molecular Pathology (required) 1-3+ years of molecular laboratory experience, preferably with NGS Experience with molecular techniques (PCR, qPCR, sequencing) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols Good organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
