Description:
As a visiting professional, you will have an opportunity to participate in exciting research conducted in the Quyyumi lab. You will have an opportunity to contribute to research endeavors that include data maintenance, data analysis, data compilation, and project participation. As a Visiting Fellow, you will collaborate with research faculty, staff, and students. The research project will expose you to various techniques, skills, resources, and mentorships inside Dr. Arshed Quyyumi's lab. Your host team has exciting science related to vascular biology, progenitor cells, clinical trials, metabolomics, and health disparities. Maintaining HIPPA and confidentiality standards for all research data and enrolled study participants is imperative. Under general supervision, you will have an opportunity to collect, analyze, interpret statistical data, and prepare reports related to research projects. In addition to the science exposure in the lab, you can attend exciting lectures and divisional meetings. You will have mentorship from advanced-level scientists who will support you with technological resources as well as a spotlight on research development.
NOTE:
Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
