Bilingual English/Spanish required About Amazon Bamboo Amazon Bamboo creates bamboo privacy spaces for residential and commercial clients in the Houston area. Our work is centered around plants, beauty, privacy, peace, and helping people feel better in their homes and outdoor spaces. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being outdoors, feels comfortable around plants, communicates well, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in doing work with care. Position Summary We are hiring a Full-Time Bilingual Field Service Coordinator to support our bamboo service and installation team in the field. This is a full-time role with a compressed schedule. Instead of working 5 shorter days, this position usually works 3 longer field days per week , depending on the route and project schedule. We can provide 30-40 hours per week , with a maximum of 40 hours per week . Field days can be long, active, and outdoors. In many cases, weekly hours are reached in about 3 longer field days, which can allow for up to 4 days off during the week. Flexibility and availability are preferred, since the schedule can depend on routes, weather, and project needs. This role is for someone who can be our eyes in the field — someone who notices what others miss, catches small issues before they become problems, keeps clear communication with the office and customers, and helps make sure each project is completed with care. We need someone who thinks beyond the task in front of them — someone who cares about the customer experience, the crew staying on track, and the company doing well. Responsibilities Communicate clearly with the office and customers throughout the day Help keep projects organized in the field Complete digital checklists, notes, and photo documentation with accuracy Pay attention to scheduled timeframes and help the crew stay on track Notice when a job may be running over the expected time and communicate that early Act as a final quality-check before leaving a job site Notice details related to job completion, cleanliness, presentation, and customer experience Recognize when a customer may benefit from additional plants, maintenance, or follow-up services Communicate those opportunities clearly to the office or leadership team Answer basic customer questions professionally and escalate anything more complex Support the crew with light practical help when needed Help maintain a clean, organized, professional job-site experience Grow into additional field responsibilities over time with training Requirements Bilingual required: English and Spanish Extremely detail-oriented and observant Strong communication skills Professional and respectful with customers Comfortable using smartphone apps, checklists, and digital notes Reliable, organized, and responsive Comfortable working outdoors and on longer field days Able to provide light physical support to the crew when needed Able to think responsibly about time, efficiency, customer experience, and company success Willing to learn and grow into additional field responsibilities over time Driving / Trailer Note Driving a truck and hauling a trailer is not required to start , but willingness to learn over time is important. We are looking for someone who wants to become more well-rounded within the company and is open to growing into additional field responsibilities with training. Helpful but Not Required Experience with plants, bamboo, nurseries, gardening, or outdoor work Field service, logistics, route, quality control, customer service, or sales experience Experience with field service software or job management apps Prior experience driving a truck or hauling a trailer Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, professional, tech-comfortable, good with people, and comfortable working outdoors. This person should care about doing good work, supporting the team, protecting the customer experience, staying within budgeted hours, and helping the company succeed.
