will not be considered Summary of the position: BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Gas & Chemical Technician to join our client's site in Sunnyvale, CA. This role will support the technical demands of the site's gas or chemical equipment, ensuring compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and driving flawless execution.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Support and lead technical demands of gas or chemical equipment Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures Support emergency preparedness efforts Act as subject matter expert for gas, chemical, and slurry equipment Provide technical support and problem resolution Support gas and chemical operations across 11 buildings in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale Support and lead technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment Write, edit, and execute operating and maintenance procedures Drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture Participate in project and sustaining operations Follow Basic Safety Processes and quality management practices Perform preventative maintenance and training Install, decommission, troubleshoot, and repair gas and chemical systems Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems Conduct complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Education/Experience:
Education:
Highschool Diploma or GED Must demonstrate quality and comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response Capability to perform cylinder and drum changes on chemical and gas systems Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution Ability to support installation, decommissioning, and repair of gas and chemical systems Willingness to undergo comprehensive OJT and technical training and qualification programs.
