Position Summary:
The Heyburn Branch, is seeking applicants to fill our unique position of Chemical Applicator/Install Technician. This position will include the responsibilities of applying chemicals in vegetable storages and installing ventilation equipment in the storage facilities. Candidates must live within 25 miles of American Falls, be self-motivated and add to our core values. 1. Integrity

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Applying chemicals to vegetables in storage facilities
  • Installing equipment in storage facilities
  • Collecting potato samples
  • General housekeeping skills
  • Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime during the busy season
  • Mechanical skills
  • Maintain all licenses to comply with regulatory agencies
  • Basic computer skills
Required Experience:
  • A high school diploma.
  • Ability to acquire and hold a valid driver's license and successfully pass a DOT medical exam.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate proficiently in English and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a drug free life.
