Sample Receiving Technician Analytics Labs - 2.5 Holyoke, MA Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications GLP Basic math Bachelor's degree Chemistry Full Job Description We are looking for a sample receiving technician to join our team! Laboratory experience is a plus but not required. We take care and pride in our work and are seeking a candidate who can do the same. If you are able to work quickly while maintaining an eye for detail we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Process laboratory samples for preparation by Analysts; Operate small laboratory equipment; Follow SOPs to maintain high quality data; Clean, maintain equipment and laboratory; Wash and sterilize laboratory equipment; Maintain ISO compliance and follow Good Laboratory Practices; Record data into appropriate logbooks; Coordinate sample throughput with Analysts and Chemists; Ability to stay organized and multitask in a high volume, fast passed work environment; Ability to work overtime to maintain turn-around times; Ability to work well in a team environment; May occasionally ride along with driver throughout Massachusetts; May occasionally drive delivery vehicle; Occasional sample collection in the field; Needs to be self sufficient and work without micromanagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, or equivalent, preferred but not required; No analytical chemistry experience required; Environmental or FDA backgrounds encouraged; Familiarity with
ISO 17025.2017
preferred but not required;
Additional Requirements:
Able to work from 10am - 6pm Monday-Friday with occasional overtime Must be a minimum of 21 years of age; Must be approved for CCC agent card.
Working Conditions:
Required to perform basic math; Regularly required to perform to perform repetitive motions; May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; Must be able to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
