Job Description:
The US Chemicals and Agriculture team is looking for an experienced analyst / associate to join its ranks. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 3 years of work experience in either equity research, investment banking, accounting, or a buy side role, with a strong background in accounting, finance, and math. Specific industry expertise is not needed. The team works closely together, and the candidate will work directly with the Senior Analyst and have exposure to all aspects of equity research including idea generation, maintaining a deep set of industry databases, financial modeling, attending company meetings, and client outreach. Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity are a must. Responsibilities Perform complex financial modeling & valuation work Write regular industry and company reports Develop databases integral to our research product Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment Work with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themes Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies Participate and contribute to client meetings and events Attend meetings and interact with key opinion leaders Closely follow and understand market, industry and company specific activity Seek out new, unusual sources of information Leverage our robust network of industry contacts A solid understanding of the fundamentals and industry will allow for regular interaction with clients Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience 1-3 Years of experience across equity research, investment banking, or buy side investments Must be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment. Must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal Along with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politics Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task Must work well in a collaborative team environment Must have strong intellectual curiosity

  • $175,000.
00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
