Currently work will be performed at Auburn, Manning and Palmer compressor stations as well as occasional work at multiple M&R stations. Duties and Responsibilities Support Compressor Operations with any projects and troubleshooting of equipment when needed. Monitor and keep a sufficient Parts Inventory needed for PM's and all other maintenance and operations work. Track and keep electronic records of all maintenance performed. Perform station maintenance as needed, including but not limited to emissions checks and calibrations, PRV Testing, annual compressor inspections and 3516B PM's and repairs. May be asked to mentor other employees based on your degree of gas compression knowledge. Provide technical assistance to operations during and after normal business hours. Assist as needed with filling in for operator callouts, vacation/personal/sick time and so forth. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong organizational skills. Good overall knowledge of natural gas compression systems. Knowledge of Caterpillar engines and Ariel reciprocating compressors. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS software. Lifting of supplies / materials may exceed 50lbs but not on a regular basis. Ability to use Forklift, Ariel Lift, and other equipment related to Station Maintenance. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Related technical / mechanical degree is desired. 3-5 years minimum of Caterpillar & Ariel experience required. Training specific to Caterpillar & Ariel reciprocating compressors is desired. UGI Energy Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
