Job Description
About Us Design and Build Plumbing is a locally owned, family-run business with a team of more than 30 employees. We offer top pay and strong benefits, which are listed in the job details. Design and Build is a Construction Plumbing company that also does Medical gas work. Having plumbing experience is required, but having Medical Gas experience is a huge plus. We have 4 Certified Medical Gas technicians, but only 1 is still in the field, so we are looking to bring in more and hopefully make Medical Gas a larger part of our business. Currently we do NOT do much Med Gas work, but we are currently working on expanding, so if you apply you may only do regular construction plumbing with the occasional Med Gas work. Extra Job Information About 90% of our work is in the Richmond area , though we occasionally travel to nearby locations such as Charlottesville, Williamsburg, Fredericksburg, and surrounding areas . A typical workday starts at 7:00 AM , but some jobs may begin earlier ( 5:00-6:00 AM ) or later ( 8:00 AM ) depending on the project. Our work ranges from small toilet repairs that take only a few hours to large hotel renovations that can last 1-2 years . Materials are usually purchased from Winn Supply and Ferguson , or picked up from our shop.
