This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex mechanical systems, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to life-saving environments. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing medical gas equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your proactive approach and mechanical knowledge will help deliver reliable medical gas solutions that support patient care and facility operations. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and connect medical gas systems according to schematics and engineering specifications. Use hand tools, calibration devices, and computer hardware to perform precise installations and adjustments. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of medical gas equipment to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) documentation for accurate system setup. Perform equipment repairs and calibrations to meet safety standards and operational requirements. Maintain detailed records of installation activities, maintenance logs, and service reports using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Collaborate with field service teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure seamless system operation. Experience Proven experience in field service roles involving mechanical systems or equipment repair. Familiarity with OEM specifications, schematics, and calibration procedures related to medical or industrial systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and troubleshooting equipment failures. Prior work with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting is highly desirable. Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) standards applicable to medical gas systems is a plus. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with team members and clients in fast-paced environments.
