As a Scientist in the Personalized Healthcare Solutions (PHCS) Development team, you will initiate, direct, and perform scientific research, development and manufacturing process strategies to support new and existing diagnostics products. You will join us and chip in to groundbreaking product development to support ongoing research and innovation! The Opportunity Create potentially patentable components for systems, reagents or processes, utilizing DOE where appropriate. Participate in cross functional technical team activities. Share knowledge and expertise with others. Contribute to project planning, process updates and experimental design. Prepare and deliver presentations of project results to others. Monitor work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time. Analyze data, evaluate results, form conclusions and provide/implement process or document improvements. Execute detailed assay design studies, technical product verification studies, optimization studies for antibody development, planning analytical method development, creating or approving labels, and developing or updating Material Safety Data Sheets. Who you are You hold a Bachelor's Degree in science and 8 years of relevant experience in product development, or a Master's or entry level PhD with 3 years of experience. You have hands-on experience with histology-based antibody assays (such as IHC). ​ Preferred You have knowledge in Agile Methodologies. Relocation benefits are not available for this posting The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson is $82 740.00 - $127 000 Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
