Responsibilities include routine review of analytical data associated with site investigations, remediation, long-term monitoring, and litigation projects. No hands-on laboratory work is involved. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and familiar with the EPA's air, drinking water, wastewater, and/or hazardous waste environmental laboratory testing methods and associated QA/QC requirements.
Additional strengths include:
hands-on commercial or municipal environmental laboratory experience with organic, inorganic and/or general chemistry analytical methods, self-starting leadership skills, goal-oriented, dependable, excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently - yet be a strong team player. A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a science discipline is required. Pay is commensurate with experience. The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
