Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lab Associate I to join our Production Sciences Team. This position will be responsible for executing exosome manufacturing operations in both adherent and suspension cell culture platforms. Working closely with our Science Team, you will be able to participate in process development activities, support optimization of upstream and downstream workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing current and future pipeline product yield, quality, and scalability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while gaining experience in advanced cell culture techniques and cosmetic GMP standards.
Essential Functions:

- Execute cell culture activities in accordance with established SOPs and work instructions to support the exosome manufacturing process.
- Participate in downstream purification of exosomes.
- Maintain sterile environment in cleanroom by performing routine cleaning and environmental monitoring activities.
- Perform established quality control tests including but not limited to
NTA, BCA
Assay, qPCR, Western Blot, Sterility Testing, and Endotoxin Testing.
- Accurately document all manufacturing activities in batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems in accordance with GMP guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R D and Quality Control to support production goals.
- Assist in inventory management of raw materials, consumables, and lab supplies.
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or any related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of one (1) year of laboratory or industry experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience in aseptic technique, including passaging and maintaining cells, especially adherent cells.
- Strong communication and organizational skills. Desired Skills & Abilities
- Experience in writing SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Cleanroom Experience is a plus
- Assay Development of various functional assays
- Work with stirred tank bioreactors at any scale
- Experience working in quality control
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, memorandums, policies, directives and professional correspondences. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization .
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
