Organics Chemist/Laboratory Technician National City, CA Position Summary

• Reviews and validates results to method requirements and all quality control standards
• Performs lab administrative duties, such as receiving samples from internal and external clients, maintaining chain of custody, generating data reports, and maintaining lab supplies & inventory.

Culture & Work Since 1986, our clients have included federal, state, and local governmental agencies, the Department of Defense, US Naval and Coast Guard shipbuilding contractors, various manufacturing firms and environmental remediation companies. Our laboratories provide analytical testing for major companies such as BAE Systems and Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding among others. We test soil, water and air matrices for asbestos, metal, inorganic and organic contamination. Qualification Bachelor's degree in chemistry (or related science) with 24 college semester credit hours and 2 years of applicable work experience
