What You'll Do:

Apply computational methods to accelerate early-stage drug discovery, focusing on rapid hit expansion and molecular/chemical space exploration. Collaborate with a Computer Aided Drug Discovery (CADD) scientist and participate in multidisciplinary R D teams. Prepare and deliver a final presentation to showcase your research findings.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year PhD student in Computational Chemistry, Molecular Modeling, Bioinformatics, Medicinal Chemistry, Structural biology, or related disciplines. Experience or coursework in Molecular Modeling, Computational Chemistry, or Computer-Aided Drug Discovery (CADD). Hands-on experience with ligand enumeration, docking, molecular dynamics, virtual screening, free energy calculations (FEP), Structure Activity Relationship (SAR), or related computational techniques. Previous internship or research experience in CADD strongly preferred. Experience in scientific programming such as Python, R, bash, etc. preferred Understanding of structure-based drug design and protein-ligand interactions is required Strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse scientific team. Ability to complete required Safety & Environmental Training and commit to full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship.
