The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory-based activities to support Eyconis' late phase process development program. Collaborating closely with a team of scientists and engineers, the candidate will engage in reaction and process optimization, and scale-up initiatives. This position offers significant opportunities for scientific growth while contributing to the advancement of innovative, complex, and impactful drugs for patients. This is an on-site position located in Redwood City and reports to the Director, Development Chemistry. Primary Responsibilities•

Design, conduct, analyze, and interpret reaction/process optimization, scale-up, and other experimental development studies Design, conduct, analyze, and interpret analytical methods in support of development chemistry activities and priorities Document experimental results in an ELN and write technical protocols/reports as needed Present data at group and cross-functional team meetings Identify and propose solutions to laboratory problems Keep current with developments in the field of (bio
  • polymer, and polymer analytical chemistry Support general laboratory operations by coordinating instrument maintenance, laboratory supplies, and adherence to safety protocols Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support program goals and milestones
Requirements Successful Candidates Will Meet Most of These Knowledge, Skills and Experience Criteria:
PhD or master's degree in polymer chemistry, organic chemistry or related field with 0-3 yrs experience. Level can be flexible depending on the degree and experience Hands-on experience and knowledge of (bio
