Job Description

You will serve as a Chemist in the Research and Development Group, Research Department, Chemistry Division, Analytical Chemistry Branch of
NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Qualifications:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Developing and executing a basic and/or applied research program based on automated systems and mass spectrometry; 2) Developing and executing research based on high throughput, automated systems for the accelerated synthesis and characterization of novel materials; 3) Building strong, broad-reaching working relationships with research funding sponsors and stakeholders; 4) Writing research proposals and communicating research results; 5) Work with various stakeholders on defining research goals and plans to achieve those goals.
