JOB DESCRIPTION
An OPS Research Assistant in Chemical Biology positions is available for Chemistry or Biology to work in a project on the novel spatial omics platform development led by Dr. Fan Hong in the Department of Chemistry. We have a position available in our group to work on (1) DNA advanced imaging method development for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics. (2) Translation research to apply the developed methods to study Alzheimers and cancer diseases. Must have
B.S./M.S.
in Chemistry or a biology-related field. This position will be initially awarded for one year, and, contingent upon strong performance and conduct and availability of funds, may be renewed for up to one/two/three years.
EXPECTED SALARY
$15.00/hr
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry or a biological science-related field. Self-motivated, excellent communication, and time management.
PREFERRED
Protein conjugation chemistry Fluorescent imaging Cell culture experience.
