Full-time Position Overview Premier Polymers LLC is a specialty chemical manufacturing company seeking a mid-level Chemist to support quality control (QC), research & development (R D), and manufacturing operations. This role involves routine and advanced chemical analysis, method support, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Support QC release testing and investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results
  • Provide analytical support for R D projects, formulation changes, and technology transfer
  • Assist manufacturing with process troubleshooting, investigations, and optimization
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation (e.g., GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, wet chemistry)
  • Analyze and interpret data, prepare technical summaries, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Follow established SOPs, quality systems, and safety requirements Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in an industrial, QC, or manufacturing laboratory
  • Hands-on experience with common analytical techniques and instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and laboratory documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams Preferred Experience
  • Experience in specialty or industrial chemical manufacturing
  • Method development, validation, or transfer experience
  • Manufacturing or plant support experience
  • Familiarity with LIMS and data trending or statistical analysis What We Offer
