R D Chemist Pay:
$25-30/hour The Opportunity We are looking for a detail-oriented R D Chemist to join our Research and Development team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product concepts and shelf-ready solutions. Operating within a GMP-regulated environment, you'll be responsible for formulation, lab testing, method validation, and overseeing plant trials to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficacy. Responsibilities Conduct routine chemical testing and prepare the solutions and reagents necessary for new product development. Write and execute method validation studies while ensuring all activities strictly adhere to GMP regulations. Assist with microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and bioburden investigations as needed. Support the transition from lab to production by assisting with batching, filling line trials, and scale-up activities. Maintain meticulous laboratory notebooks, compiling data and observations to support product integrity. Manage the cleaning and maintenance of R D and production equipment, including developing sanitization procedures. Coordinate the shipment of samples to external laboratories for specialized analysis. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field. Proven experience in a chemical laboratory, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of chromatography, formulation, and the cleaning/maintenance of commercial pharmaceutical equipment. Previous experience with cGMP or microbiological techniques (aseptic testing, environmental monitoring) is a significant plus. Exceptional communication skills and a high level of precision in documentation. This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
