$36 per hour Overview We are seeking an early-career Chemist I to support laboratory operations, method development, and analytical problem-solving in a fast-paced technical environment. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and operational success. Key Responsibilities Perform analytical testing and support method development and validation Troubleshoot manufacturing and production challenges using advanced analytical techniques Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and data integrity standards Maintain and support laboratory equipment, including selection, validation, and maintenance Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and testing methodologies Contribute to continuous improvement of lab operations and testing accuracy Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Chemistry or related field Experience with analytical instrumentation (e.g., gas chromatography, ICP, X-ray, sulfur/nitrogen analyzers) Knowledge of scientific method development, validation, and data analysis Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and sound judgment Preferred Skills Experience reviewing and improving scientific methods and standards Background in method development vs. equipment-only roles Ability to interpret data, run simulations, and validate results With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
