Job Description:
Associate Ingredient Scientist The Scientific team at Russell Tobin is hiring an Associate Ingredient Scientist for an exciting food and beverage organization near Burlington, MA. Responsibilities Supports development of ingredient specifications. Collect critical documents to ensure clients ingredients meet the required FDA standards. Leads projects that impact ingredients, such as new supplier requirement updates, cost savings initiatives, supply issues or production challenges Works with Product Development and other functions of R D such as Sensory, Ingredients, Nutrition, Regulatory, Flavor Technology, Process Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology Develop / Update SOPs and training for job function as needed Communicates with vendors to obtain required documentation Requirements B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or allied field 1-3 years of experience in related function within food/beverage (R D, Quality) or Client internship Excellent communication skills Experience with
Excel, PowerPoint and Word Additional Details:
Position Type:
9 month contract opportunity with strong potential to extend up to 12 months.
Pay rate range approved:
$30.50 - 34.50/hr depending on experience Must be authorized to work in the United States.
