Sichuan Huiyu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is seeking a Head of Immuno-Oncology Department to lead immuno-oncology research programs, with a focus on immunotherapy and T-cell engager related project directions. Important Note on Location This role is based in Chengdu, Sichuan, China . Due to job posting location limitations, the location field may display Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States . However, the actual working location for this position is Chengdu, Sichuan, China . Candidates should be willing to work on-site in Chengdu. Responsibilities Design experimental plans for pathway validation and target identification, including in vitro and in vivo assay development, in collaboration with the scientific team. Execute experiments, interpret and validate results, and communicate data clearly to the scientific team and executive management. Lead and collaborate with scientists and research associates to achieve company research and development objectives. Manage external research collaborations with academic institutions and commercial partners. Drive immunotherapy or T-cell engager projects from early discovery toward IND-stage development. Identify and evaluate innovative immuno-oncology project opportunities with scientific and commercial potential. Provide scientific leadership and strategic input for immuno-oncology programs, especially projects involving multi-specific antibodies, including bispecific antibody programs. Qualifications Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biological sciences, bioengineering, immunology, oncology, or a related field. Strong background in tumor immunology, immunotherapy, or T-cell engager related research. Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant laboratory or industry experience in academic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology settings. Industry experience as an overall Project Leader for multi-specific antibody projects, including bispecific antibody programs, is highly preferred. Experience driving projects from initiation through at least the IND stage is highly preferred. Strong experimental skills, especially in assay development using in vitro and in vivo models. Expertise in cell and molecular immunology, multi-color flow cytometry, immune cell phenotyping, tissue isolation techniques, and related assays. Strong scientific judgment, with the ability to identify and pursue forward-looking immuno-oncology project opportunities. Demonstrated ability to work with highly skilled teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and technical environment. Strong learning agility, scientific curiosity, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to scientific teams and executive management. Compensation Annual salary range:
USD 120,000 - 180,000
