Skills/ Experience :
  • BS degree in Science with 1-3 years or MS degree in Science with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g. molecular/vector cloning, DNA gel electrophoresis, plasmid preparations).
  • Experience in mammalian/CHO cell culture practices.
Preferred Skills :
  • Experience in flow cytometry (FACS) techniques.
Job Responsibilities/Department Description:
We are seeking a motivated full-time temporary (1 year) employee to work as a member of our Cell Line Development (CLD) team within our Biopharmaceutics R D. Research will focus on optimizing and streamlining innovative process methodologies used in generating recombinant CHO cell line platforms. Responsibilities will consist of performing CLD activities including molecular cloning (plasmid / vector construction), CHO cell culture (stable transfections, pool / clone generation) and flow cytometry. Additional responsibilities include performing good documentation practices, managing work assignments, analyzing and interpreting data and conducting necessary troubleshooting (consulting with supervisor as needed).
Basic Skills:
Experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g. molecular/vector cloning, DNA gel electrophoresis, plasmid preparations). Experience in mammalian/CHO cell culture practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in flow cytometry (FACS) techniques.
Education:
BS degree in Science with 1-3 years or MS degree in Science with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
