Key responsibilities:

• Train on and perform analytical testing using multiple technologies to evaluate protein biopharmaceuticals for characterization, process validation, and stability monitoring.
• Work with experienced scientists to optimize, transfer, or qualify analytical methods.
• Use electronic databases to store test data
• Provide analytical support for MSAT's Upstream and Downstream teams for process development and characterization projects
• Co-author analytical protocols and reports
• Follow FDA and/or European agency regulations on analytical methods as they apply

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Life science, chemistry, engineering or equivalent technical discipline
• Experience with protein analysis by ELISA, PCR and DNA extraction, HPLC or other techniques
• 0-2 years of relevant lab experience In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with protein analysis by ELISA, residual DNA, protein concentration by UV, purity by HPLC or other techniques
• Willing to learn and work with the team
• Familiar with Microsoft office

Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $25.00-$35.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
