These solutions provide critical insights for the treatment and management of diseases and other health conditions. Position Overview We are seeking a Technical Manufacturing Chemist to join the Infectious Disease Developed Markets business unit in Scarborough, Maine. This role is responsible for producing bioreagents used in immunology-based chromatography and enzyme testing, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain the manufacturing production schedule. Perform in-process quality control (QC) testing, including qualifications, inspections, and titrations. Prepare critical and non-critical bioreagents in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain compliance with GMP and GLP quality systems. Investigate process issues and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop, follow, and execute protocols related to product and process improvements. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent production output and raw material availability. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and equipment, including: Pipetting Spectrophotometry HPLC pH meters Gel Electrophoresis (includingSDS-PAGE
) ELISA assays Core Competencies Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment with moderate supervision. Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
